In early 2025 I was struck by the undeniable urge to paint city skylines aglow at night over water. I started with what I knew - Seattle over the sound - and then started to wander through the skylines of other cities I’ve visited. Raining Blue Light shows the skyline of Seattle as viewed from West Seattle, aglow in blues and bright yellows with the ferry approaching the terminal.
This 8×10” fine art print is part of my watercolor cityscape series entitled Where Will You Be Tomorrow. Made using the Giclée printing technique, the thick, high quality Somerset Velvet paper has the look and feel of cotton watercolor paper.
