South Fork, Colorado is a tiny little town on the (you guessed it) South Fork of the Rio Grande. I’ve been lucky enough to visit family there every few years for over two decades. In July 2022 I had the opportunity for a 5 day visit with a deep focus on capturing South Fork’s incredible beauty. I painted Big Meadow Reflected plein air while gazing at the incredible landscape at the Big Meadows Reservoir a short jaunt from South Fork.
