Lookout Mountain - Limited Edition Print
South Fork, Colorado is a tiny little town on the (you guessed it) South Fork of the Rio Grande. I’ve been lucky enough to visit family there every few years for over two decades. In July 2022 I had the opportunity for a 5 day visit with a deep focus on capturing South Fork’s incredible beauty. I painted this view of Lookout Mountain plein air in the Rio Grande forest, stopping to take in the view alongside Park Creek road on the way to Elwood Pass.
